오늘 참 길고 긴 하루를 보내고 돌아오는 길에 문득 머리속에 떠오른 이 곡. 사람들 많은 데서 갑자기 노래는 부를 수는 없고 마음속으로만 몇 번을 불렀는지 모르겠다. 웃기는 건 아무도 없는 집에 홀로 돌아와서도, 저녁을 먹으면서도, TV를 보면서도 계속 그러고 있었다. 뭐에 억눌려 있었던건지는 몰라도 지금 생각해보면 참 이해가 안가는 행동이었다.
PC앞에 앉아 Youtube로 이 곡을 들은 건 마악 자정을 넘긴 시각이었다. 잔잔하고 차분하게 울려퍼지는 기타의 곡조에 마음을 싣고 눈을 감는다. 뭔가 가슴 속에 탁 막혀있던게 풀리는 느낌이 들었다. 긴 하루를 보내고 밤에 홀로 남아, 삶에 지쳐 다 그만 두고 싶다는 생각이 들 때...날 붙들어 준 위로가 되는 노래...
